Notes from July, 2014:
Lightly hazy, golden-hued, enormous head, bright white, crystalline. Looking lovely.
Aroma: some spice, some fruit, light, yet lively. Love it, right on the money.
Taste: sweetness, spice, wheat, smoothness….creamy and delicious. Orange and lemon and minor spice notes and it's right on the money. It's doing the thing. Classic heft weizen flavor and extreme drinkability, perfect for summertime quaffing.

First time at the brewpub. This is one dirty hefe. Not well done. It's drinkable but not to style. Lingering dirt.

Pours a hazy straw yellow with a 1 finger white head. Smell and taste was clove, banana, and apples. A fruity mouth feel with low carbonation and malty finish.

This beer arrives a cloudy orange color. The head is one inch of bright white foam that recedes slowly into a nice cap. The aroma is of banana, lemon pepper, and a hint of clove. The taste leans more toward the lemon pepper side with banana and clove in the background. The finish is a perfect balance between lingering flavor and cleanliness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with lively carbonation, and a smooth texture. I'd prefer a chewier body in a hefe, but I can also see how this beer could be very refreshing on a hot day. Overall, this is a nice hefe that I could drink again.
