This beer arrives a dark brown near black color. Tge head is a quarter inch of light tan foam that recedes slowly into nice lacing. The aroma is of grahan cracker, cocoa powder, roasted malt, and a hint of burnt caramel. The taste is similar to the aroma, but fuller. It is a really nice plend of flavor. The mouthfeel is medium-full bodied with a chewy texture, and lively carbonation. Overall, this is what a brown ale should be.
