Sky High Brewing

4 story brewpub downtown on the same block as Biere Library. Brewhouse on first floor, seating and bars on the other, including a roof top patio. 10 beers on tap. Friendly bartender. I did not try the food.

Sky High is right! Lovely roof top patio overlooks Corvallis. The facility goes from street level to the roof, with multiple levels in between. Elevator available for easy roof access. Good service, beer varies.

Sky High is an interesting brewpub in Corvaillis that's situated in kind of a vertical stack, with the pub/taproom up on the 3rd floor and additional bar space on the mezzanine. They have 13 beers on tap; the beers themselves were decent, though not outstanding. Service is pretty good, though, and I had some cheese curds as a snack which were really tasty. I could definitely see spending some time at Sky High as it's a good place to just hang out.

 

 

 

 

The beer is not very good compared to the other breweries in town, but the atmosphere is great and the food is decent. Nothing beats watching the sunset from the rooftop deck and enjoying an appetizer and a brew. It would be perfect if the beer just wasn't so bland and unbalanced.

 

Brand new ( for me) spot to try in Corvalis, you will really love the atmosphere here, third floor outdoor deck with 12 or more picnic-table-style tables, 6 bar chairs, deck lighting, outdoor heating, cool atmosphere.

Very nice selection of beers, 12 on tap, loved the Barleywine, can't wait to try the RIS, IPA very drinkable, really like the outdoor vibe, servers are very friendly ( expected at newer places, I know ), we will see in a year or two if this is the same.

Did'nt have any food, but what I saw would definitely make you want to see a menu. 4th floor rooftop deck under construction, that should be a big win for this fine brewery, if they keep the beers solid, and hold the line on the food I've seen, they will make some fine bank with this venture, again, this is really awesome up on the deck, come up, sit back, and enjoy your life.
