I called this an APA, but the company calls it a tropical golden ale. It is a bit hard to classify. This beer launched this week at the GBBF, but I had on cask at the Tiny Rebel tap takeover at Craft Beer Co in Covent Garden. Pours like a red ale with a thin creamy head that held up well on the glass. Nose was light fruit malts like a bitter, but with juicy hop fruits backing it up and rounding it out. The flavor was similar in that it tasted both like a very fruity bitter and a tropical APA, but the feel from cask makes me lean toward the former. The combination really amps up the light malt fruits (or the other way around). Super drinkable...the kind of beer you find yourself drinking really really fast.
