330ml can from Curious Liquids (£5.25):
Unexpectedly light, its a pale, golden amber with a thin & bubbly lacing around the edges with nothing in the middle. It's an unusual nose not dissimilar to custard with some vanilla sweetness & touches of lemon/citrus to finish. The taste is very sweet & dominated by a sweet custard & vanilla combination that was boozy too with with some warming alcohol showing with faint spices, including the cinnamon mentioned on the can but it was light. It reminded me of Advocaat a little with bread malts & white chocolate at the end. The body felt thick thick, slightly sticky & very sweet with a boozy finish but the balance was all over the place really. Its an improvement on the standard edition of this beer, but only a marginal one.
