’m going back to 505 - Hazy on the eye, tropical on the nose and mango/citrus in the taste.

Copenhagen 2/8 2021. 44 cl can from N’bro Kiosken, Nørrebrogade, Kbh. N. A big “505” on the can in a multitude of colors and Tiny Rebel’s little Teddy bear mascot.
Pours opaque hazy yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin - almost transparent - layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a prominent sugary sweet odor mingling with more subtle citric notes. Sweet peach, hard candy, passion fruit. Citrus and lime.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is tart and a bit sugary. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
A bit on the sugary and candy-like side. Seems to be Tiny Rebel’s signature.

440ml can.
L: Hazy, pale orange with a big, fluffy head that collapses leaving a decent smear and spotty lacing.
S: Slightly earthy, ripe tropical fruit aroma.
T: Pineapple, overripe mango and coconut. An explosion of tropical flavours.
F: Medium body, light carbonation, extra soft mouthfeel and a full, sticky, moderately bitter finish.
O: Lots of UK breweries attempt this style but few make the grade. I can now add Tiny Rebel to Pressure Drop, Cloudwater and North who’ve all done the biz.

A perfect NE IPA. Citrusy, hazy, delightfully fresh from first sip to the last.
