Copenhagen 1/2 2020. 33 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Snow white can with the name of the beer bursting through a crack in the snow.
Pours hazy golden yellow with a very big white head. Dense and fluffy. Settles as 3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is candy, herbs and citrus. Candylike sweetness with caramel and vanilla. Wine gum. Lactose sweetness. Lemon and lime.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, smooth, soft and almost flat texture.
Flavor has a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undercurrent. Lingers for a while.
Ok for a “pastry-beer”. Sweet and candy-like but with a decent balance. They are not overdoing it.
