Hand-pulled half-pint in Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, Oakengates on 1st Aug 2013.
Light golden body with a thin white head.
Floral hop nose and taste with a citrus feel to the finish.
Body didn't seem right for a 4.6% ABV brew, a little thin and watery: not the Rebel's best beer.
Refreshing enough, but not my sort of beer.

"Aussie Summer Ale"
Half pint from cask, at the Cask Pub and Kitchen. Pours a bright golden colour with not much of a head. Smells slightly hoppy - sweet fruits, with a malty sweetness. Taste dominated by biscuity malts, with a slight fruity quality to it. Thin bodied but not unpleasantly so. Overall not the best from them, but still a nice refreshing and simple golden ale.
