330 bottle, from Ales By Mail. ABV is 4.5%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of fruity hops, notes of tropical fruits. Also citrus, hints of pine. Fizzy mouthfeel. Citric flavour, very bitter finish.

Clear golden color with white head. Aroma has grainy malt and citrusy hops. Taste follows with the grainy note, light cardboard, some grassy hops with a light bitterness on the finish. Light body, medium carbonation. Quite simple and a bit too grainy for an APA.

Half pint from cask at the Cask Pub and Kitchen - alternative name of Boom Box used on the pump clip. Pours a clear golden colour, with a decent white head. Smells quite hoppy but not overly so. Fragrant US hops - tropical fruit mostly. Tastes again, of those US hops, grapefruit and other citrus flavours, but with a distinct malt backbone, and with a great medium-thin body, making it lip smacking and refreshing. Overall a pretty good beer. Continued excellence from Newport.
