was hoping for much more out of this. didnt have a ton of flavor aside from the rye. at just over a month old, i expected more hops, too. im usually a big vault advocate, but this one fell short.

12 oz Nitro-can poured into a pub-style pint glass.
Appearance
Deep red with an excellent cascading effect. You're left with about 2 1/2 fingers of fluffy white head. Good clarity.
Nose
Pine, sugar-coated papaya, passion fruit, orange citrus, and pineapple.
Taste
Pine sap, passion fruit, and green dankness. Light notes of grapefruit juice, sugar-coated papaya, orange citrus, and a touch of pineapple. Caramel backbone with hints of rye. None too spicy.
Mouthfeel
Medium-light bodied, semi-silky, ultra-smooth, and lightly bitter.
Overall
Dank, juicy, and smooth. A solid Rye Pale Ale and a great addition to the Vault's Nitro Can series.
