On tap in a pint glass.
Slightly darker than very pale with a 1F white cap. Slight cloudiness, ample lacing.
It smells like a tree, evergreen. Pine and malt. Fresh and inviting.
Light malt ,earthy and woody and pine.
Light feel but bitter and bold. Very crisp with a lingering bitter finish. The 5.2% abv is just right in this brew.
The hop profile is bitter with little, if no, citrus. The beer rounds out nicely.

16 oz. can poured into a Vault Brewing custom glass. Canned on April 17, 2017. Can has a black matte finish; Vault written in silver letters and Chinook Pale Ale written in metallic camo light and dark green colors.
American Pale Ale singlely hopped with Chinook hops. Chinook is a high alpha hop variety that brings a lot of earthy pine flavors and bitterness to a beer. While most beers have three or four different hop varieties, this one has been strictly hopped with Chinook, taking in every aspect of the hop, kind of like getting a Cabernet and not a Red Blend.
L - light amber color; slightly hazy hue with clear highlights towards the corners; very little lacing; very few bubbles floating
S - really heavy in spruce, strong pine, nothing citrus or fruity about this one
T - super hefty bitterness, resinous and piney, citrus is only a spruce taste, but definitely a woodsy beer. Malt is really light and lets the hops do the talking. Bitterness hangs on for a while.
F - light in body, light mouthfeel, really cleans up like water, no alcohol presence. Really smooth and balanced with big bitterness
