Appearance: dark amber in color with a big fluffy head that lasts. Some nice lace develops.
Smell: some earthy and fruity tones rise from the glass.
Taste: caramel, pine, some earthy tones, and some citrus. Bitterness is moderate.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Crisp to start, less crisp at this finish.
Overall: a real easy drinking and flavorful pale ale where the Simcoe hops really come through.
