Well the nitro worked well pouring into pint glass...poured a rich almost black with thick tan foam that cascaded nicely through-out the glass. Fun entertainment to watch.
The aroma was full of the coffee, coffee, and maybe some dark fruits?...
The taste is pleasant with not being to much coffee with a nice balance, but became a little flat carbonation wise. Yet it didn't take away from a nice drink.
As for the feel it is smooth with some semi dry bitterness, but again well balanced.
This is a coffee stout worth adding to the list.

Poured into a narrow pint glass - missed the advisement of an aggressive pour so the head was minima with just a feint tan head with fine bubbles.
Smell is lighter coffee, light malt, maybe some roast.
Taste is follows with light coffee, feint malt, not bad but subuded and missing effervescence.
Mouthfeel is quite light in terms of effervescence (low nitro content), lingering light sweetness but more coffee flavor than stout.
Overall a beer that seems much more like a cold brew coffee with just enough malt sweetness to over come coffee notes, but minimal stout like flavor.

Nitro pounder can into a snifter appears brown to black with a khaki head.
The nose on this is fantastic with just a ridiculous amount of fresh coffee and nothing else.
Sadly, as impressive as the nose is the taste leaves a bit to be desired. Not much stout but more of a watered down coffee with slight tang, fruit and mineral component to the finish.
This is light in body with lower to modest carbonation. Its just ok and not worth picking up again unless they revamp the stout base.

Vault Brewing Co. "Full City Coffee Stout"
$4/half pint at the brewery on 14 April 2018
Notes: "v.4.0 5.0%" Opaque brown-black body beneath a creamy tan head that holds fairly well and leaves some nice lacing. It's clearly coffee in the aroma, roasty and nutty - very nice! The flavor adds milk chocolate, caramel, and brown sugar. A median bitterness balances it and it finishes dry with coffee, ashen roastiness, and a mild bitterness lingering. In the mouth is creamy smooth with a medium body, and that's one of the things that really makes it work as the coffee and roastiness aren't amplified by carbonic gas. Very nicely done, it's nicely balanced and offers a lot of coffee while not being overdone to the point that the coffee overrides or throws off the balance. Well worth trying if you like coffee beers.

Can to snifter. With DC, Sampling with Alesmith Speedway & Alesmith Speedway, Jamaican Blue Mountain.
Look: brown black, no head.
Aroma: strong coffee, mold, peat. Very aromatic.
Taste: coffee with some deep roastiness and floral notes.
Feel: thin, watery, no carbonation.
Probably much coffee and not enough beer. The coffee itself is great, very aromatic and tasty but it overwhelms the beer and waters it down.
Also not very fair what we are sampling this against.

It pours pitch black with a tan head. This is meant to be nitro but I did not pour it properly so I didn't get the full effect in terms of appearance. The aroma is of quality dark coffee. The taste is not too intense but it's once more of pure coffee. Some sweetness from the malts and with not too intense a bitterness overall. Nice creamy mouthfeel thanks to the nitro. A very nice beer.

Pours dark brown, but no significant head or lacing. Smell is of coffee and a bit of malt. Taste is the same, with a bit of chocolate cream on the end. Feels ok, refreshing but not too thin. Good lower ABV stout to digest the steak and eggs brunch I just had.

16 oz nitro-can poured into a Pilsner glass.
Appearance
Mahogany with ruby highlights. Good clarity. 1 finger of creamy tan head settles after the nitro cascading effect.
Nose
Cold brew coffee, caramel, and fudge.
Taste
Medium roast cold brew coffee, caramel, and dark chocolate syrup. Toffee and burnt graham cracker. Finishes with a roasty bitterness.
Mouthfeel
Medium bodied, smooth, semi-sweet, and moderately bitter.
Overall
The Vault has a real knack for getting beer to taste like cold brew coffee. Bravo!
