A room temperature pour to empty the contents of a pint can into a clear glass liter mug produced almost no head. The liquid is an unappealing tan-orange color, dark and opaque. There is some tart raspberry to smell, with a little mango, too. It does bring a sour and somewhat bitter taste experience. This is one of those rare fruited sours that is actually more sour than tart. That knocks down the fruity aspect of the taste, especially from the mango. None of this is a complaint, as it's refreshing to drink a sour that's sour, rather than tartly fruity. It's a wheat based beer, so there's not much body to rave about. But the generous mango puree probably mitigates that. It could be a little prettier, it could have a little more flavor, it could have just a little glass lacing, but it doesn't. For the style, the mouthfeel is passable. This is interesting because it seems true to what a fruited kettle sour should be. Interesting doesn't necessarily mean tasty.
