Delicate but sharp rhubarb is made extra tart by our house mixed-culture’s profile. Creating a floral rhubarb compote character which is topped with lashings of maple syrup and dusted with pecans.

Copenhagen 2/8 2021. 37,5 cl heavy glass bottle from Best of Beers web-shop. Vault City's usual design with the lattice gate in a green, orange and red version.
Pours opaque, murky, brownish yellow with a big, creamy, white head. Stable. Settles as 4 cm thick crown of foam completely covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet cake-like, sugary sent mingling with more subtle sour notes. Sweet pie, white sugar. Light odor of citrus, tart gooseberries and rhubarb.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, smooth, soft, creamy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger sourness. Aftertaste is sour with a sugary undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Again they manage to find a unique balance between the sweet pastry-like sweetness and the tart sourness.
