Had as a sample at SN Beer Camp
A-Pours inviting amber hue, slight haze with a white head with good lacing.
S-Very nice aromas grapefruit and floral hops.
T-Taste starts with malt then a lot of floral hops with a hint of grapefruit.
M-Mouthfeel is well balanced with a great carbonation.
O-One of the stand-out IPA I had at the festival.

Had in a flight. The usual subtle grassy and citrus notes were present, but a slight soapiness and relatively warm--cask conditioned-- character make this lost in the back of the pack for the seasoned IPA drinker. So its not memorable in any regard- just average.
First, I admire them for thinking outside of the box with doing this as a cask-conditioned beer. However, nitro is supposed simulate cask conditioning--and they had 2 beers on nitro in the flight. If cask conditioned, it needs to be chilled properly. It was almost room temp. Vault's current IPA was nothing to write home about.
