Nitro pour into a tulip pint.
Appearance
Translucent black with red highlights. 1 finger of light tan head. Excellent lacing around the glass.
Nose
Coffee grounds, caramel and char.
Taste
Dark, bitter coffee grounds and caramel. Very roasty with some earthy char. Light notes of milk chocolate. A kick of juicy, citrusy hops in the finish.
Mouthfeel
Light-medium bodied, smooth, clean and dry.
Overall
Decent Stout but not my favorite from Vault Brewing. Similar to an Irish Dry Stout with bigger notes of coffee. Now I'm curious to see what their Dry Stout and Coffee Stouts taste like...
