Appearance: clear orange in color with a one finger head that lasts a while. Some spotty lace develops during the session.
Smell: caramel, some fruit sweetness, and a hop presence is easy to detect and very pleasant.
Taste: caramel, orange, some spiciness from the rye, and a moderate bitterness create a well balanced beer. The alcohol level is well hidden here.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Crisp to start, a bit less crisp and a touch dry at the finish. The bitterness and spiciness linger in the aftertaste.
Overall: a very easy to quaff IPA that is quite satisfying to the tastebuds. Refreshing too. I can see drinking a few of these in a session.
