Great beer, great view, nice outdoor space,
and tasty snacks. It is definitely off the beaten path, but worth the trip.

A great place to try! Everything barrel aged, fantastic! Sat here for a couple hours with one local customer and the bartender the first day, chatting and talking, listening to reggae and talking heads and whatever else popped up on pandora, have to rate it really high on atmosphere. Heck, have to rate it really high on everything. The second day was more of the same.
Really it's a "tasting room," meaning that you're in a small but spacious and cozy room where they have a bar and a big blackboard and comfy stools. This is right in the middle of brewery and barrel aging heaven. I was told most everything is sort of a "one off" in that it will likely not be brewed exactly the same way twice (but yes, they revisit themes).
When I say tasting room, know that the hours are not that long, you'll need to check, they are pretty short. But I understand how tasting rooms go, and I don't hold short hours against a small brewery.
But seriously, I mean really, how many places in the country can you have multiple barrel aged stuff straight to your glass, inc. lots of bretts and sours, all at once, and have 20+ choices of barrel aged bottles to go? For the extreme beer nut crowd, this is some serious bragging/trading fodder.
You can hardly beat this for a great little beer getaway spot. If you don't go, you missed out.
No, seriously, if you're a beer connoisseur, and you don't go to this place when you're in Colorado, your status as a beer guru is about to be downgraded to bud light frat boy.
