Nice Winter Warmer / Belgian spiced strong ale brewed with barley and wheat malts, candy sugar, umalted wheat, grains of paradise and ginger root. Dark brown body, fine bubbled head that dissipates fast. In the nose mainly caramel malts and a yeast character reminiscent of a Belgian dark ale. Citric note from the grains of paradise. Spicy malty taste. Medium body with fine carbonation.
Really nice offering from this local brewery. Carbonation is spot on and that was not always a given for this local brewey.
