Pours remarkably clear typical dark mild brown colour. Lots of medium sized bubbles are racing upwards stabilizing a pillowy beige head with random sized bubbles.
Smell is immediately brown malts, not much caramel, not much roast either but this breadiness in between. delicious.
Tastewise the earthy malts are there but not dominant. There is an interplay with a certain tartness - sour cherries and bitterness. some raspberries as well.
Body is not too thin but carbonation is too high at first
Complexity for such a low abv beer is impressive and the tartness is surprising.
