Best of 7-8 beers I tried from this brewery. Classic massive English BW with full creamy body, slight stickiness, nice caramel and brown sugar, treacle sweetness but not overwhelming - a warming brace of alcohol and modest Hop bitterness come in at the end to clean things up. Such a welcome beer to a huge barleywine fan encountering a dearth of quality contemporary examples.

Well done Barley wine with all the caramelly, sweet and boozy goodness balanced by a quite substantial bitterness. Remains dangerously drinkable while giving a good warm feeling
