Murky brown with high head of tan that lingers; intense golden syrup, sultana + rum barrel nose; toast, hazelnuts, fig, earth, walnuts, cocoa, must as it goes, and some port notes; light yet creamy, dry, low carb.

Blend of mild brown, stale brown, and stock (i.e. Brett) ales.

Smells like a quad, drinks like a brown on the first sip. Eventually settles into stock/old ale character - all that sherry and earth.
No sign of Brett.
Might’ve missed its peak as 3 beers blended. But round (if thin) and deep and lovely.
