A 750ml bottle, bottled in August 2022. Poured into a Tilquin stemmed glass.
Appearance: A clear copper brown colour with a big two finger white head that had great retention, and left some nice lacing.
Aroma: Malt, burnt toast, smoke, light caramel notes, and a touch of apple peel.
Taste: Sweet malty, bready, burnt toast, smoke, with notes of caramel and apple peel, lightly bitter on the finish.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with moderate to soft carbonation.
Overall: It’s fine for what it is. Easy drinking with some interesting aroma and flavours.

Pours a dark brown color, with a smaller light brown head.
Smells of dried and spicy noble hops, together with a good amount of salt among earthy toffee and lighter bakers chocolate.
Offers a lighter bodied beer with a lower, well fitting carbonation, revealing a light and refreshing mouthfeel with a late, vivid effervescence.
Tastes of wooden, rustic malts, toffee and salt, lighter licorice and a note of oaken smoke. Turns a tad sweeter then with a more pronounced herb appearance, together with a silk mouthfeel, opening up the palate to the subtle saltiness in this. Finishes with more bakers chocolate, oak and a subtle herbal dryness.
Quite elegant, while strong headed with a well pronounced oak and salt interplay.
