Pint of draft at Chicago Dogs in Scarborough.
Appearance: Clear amber/copper with a huge cream head.
Aroma: Hops. Lots of floral hops and some pine notes.
Taste: Hoppy and floral. Nice malt backbone, too. Notes of lemon, grapefruit. Lingering caramel-type note.
Mouthfeel: Drinkable. Hoppy, but a good beer to pair with hot dogs, as I am doing presently.
Overall: Good stuff. Nice autumnal IPA. Good mix of IPA florality and somewhat marzen-like maltiness.
