500ml bottle poured into pint glass 6/3/14 from notes
A looks black in the glass but once held to the light it has a reddish cola glow, two fingers of loose mocha foam falls fast leaving a single thick ring of lace where the foam existed
S dark roasted coffee grinds, some char, chocolate syrup, brown sugar, more coffee, it is what it claims
T everything I smells darker and has more intensity, just a little licorice added to the mix, has what I like in a coffee stout, lots of coffee, almost burnt malt and a little sweetness
M medium bodied, booze is just detectable, fluffs up and flattens out in seconds, very long finish of char, dark roasted coffee, and bakers chocolate
O another great score from a brewery I've never heard of, intense brew but I like that in the style
After navigating for my wife driving through a big foreign city on the other side of the road this is what the doctor ordered, booze to calm my nerves and some caffeine to wake me up.

From New World in Auckland. 500 ml bottle BB dated 20 August 2014
Pours like black coffee with a well-proportioned light brown head; very good lacing
Feel: medium body; lively carbonation seems a bit high.
Aroma: Arabica coffee and a touch of roasted grains
Flavor: moderately strong coffee flavor dominates. Some dark roasted malts, oats and a faint touch of hops.
O: a solid coffee oatmeal stout.
