Imbued with a smooth blend of malts and a truckload of hops that sends its bitterness through the stratosphere, my take on the India Pale Ale is even more in your face than the average American.

Bottle from Henry's in Queenstown. From notes.
A - Poured dark golden with a half finger of white head. Bright with good carbonation. Sticky lace rings and an island of retention.
S - Floral, citrus, a little grassy, orange.
T - Citrussy, grassy, floral, pineapple.
M - Good carbonation, medium body, very mild bitterness.
O/D - Not the most drinkable IPA. Decent enough but definitely lacked depth and bitterness for the style.
