On cask at the Abita Brewpub. This was the cask conditioned Abbey Ale aged on oak spirals. Not certain it was a huge improvement over the original but a nice brew none the less. The oak added a complexity that went very well with this one. It's funny that the brewery it's self did not have this one for sample but the brewpub, which is not owned or operated by Abita, did. Glad I got to try it it was my second favorite beer I had while visiting Abita next to the BBA Porter. I'd love to sample the bourbon barrel aged version sometime.
