like hop-infused water? no carbonation at all and 'best by date a full month away. great flavoring though! more sips convince me they do not add carbonation to this beer. does carbonation add to the carbohydrates??? keto and 2.7 carbs is the reason for purchasing this. if you are jonesin' for a hop injection on your keto plan, go for it. but i wouldnt drink this in any other capacity....

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a bright golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of citrus, little else. Taste is again dominated by citrus, light malts, very little bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall it packs a good bit of flavor for a low abv/calorie beer.

Pours clear, pale yellow in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is husk and lemon. Light bodied, moderate carbonation, slightly bitter. Makes for a fine, non-offensive session ipa. Not bad but not overly memorable either.

Hop 99 has a thick, off-white head, a mostly clear, bubbly, lemon yellow appearance, with bubbles and glass lacing. The aroma is of citrus & white bread crust. The taste is similar, with a touch of bitterness. Mouthfeel is thin, and Hop 99 finishes crisp.

1st Review. Mild but satifactory if you want to cut calories.
a) Light clear body, not much head, thin.
s) Border between a session IPA like Boat (among the best) and a mass lager.
t) Amps up the taste a bit, mostly grain, lemon, white pepper not much fruit.
o) As always Abita comes in a little thin and a little metallic in the base water to my palate.
