12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, straw-yellow color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left minimal lacing on the glass. It smelled of crackers, bread, corn and some yeastiness. Sweet caramel, bread crust and toasty taste with a mild bitterness.

Poor. Didn't have a good beer taste, something off about it. Not thirst quenching enough.

12 ounce bottle - $1.49 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a clear, rich golden hue with a medium-sized, white head.
Smell: Damp, husky barley grains with modest hoppy notes smelling of faint florals, muted citrus and a minute soapy hint.
Taste: Hewn hay with a noted graininess and staunch dryness. Though it's not much of a big surprise given the aroma, none of the hop elements really shine, leaving you with a 35th Anniversary much like one's own 35th Birthday, a perfunctory, routine effort that highlights only the missteps and defeats, with acute awareness that the promise, the vigor and the glory of former days are now long, long behind you.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium-soft carbonation.
Overall: A bit of a dud.

From the neck of the bottle: "21139 11:?5" ? is where a number is rubbed off
Appearance: It is medium-light gold in color with good clarity. It has a medium-sized white head that has a creamy texture. Good lacing on the glass and good retention.
Aroma: Some pleasant grain aroma comes through with notes of rye bread and rustic bread crust. There is a bit of rosemary scent and a hint of lemon and lime.
Taste: A pleasant lime and grain flavor come through up front. Towards the middle it picks up more of a crushed grain flavor and the lemon maintains a very nice citrus quality but melds in with the grain better. The rear of the tongue has very similar flavors to those on the middle of the tongue. It is a very flavorful beer with a lot to offer.
Mouthfeel: It is on the upper edge of light-bodied with a slight chewy character. It is very drinkable. Bitterness is low and it comes across as similar to the light bitterness that might come from a lemonade.
Overall: It's a very enjoyable beer. The rear label states that this is a "fruity and floral Pilsner." It does have a nice fruity character which comes across as a bit of lemon and lime but it isn't floral in either the aroma or the flavor. What really makes this beer is the grain flavor and how well it works with the hops to create an overall enjoyable beer to drink. Abita really hit it out of the park with this beer and it is worthy of being an anniversary beer. I would recommend it and it's worth buying a full six-pack. I would definitely buy it again.

Pours an effervescent gold with a thumb+ of pearl colored head. Average head retention & lacing
S: Bready, some lemon notes
T: Dry, bready, grassy notes with lemon up front. Sweet breadyness melds with grassyness, soapy & lemony hops as this warms. Finishes dry, grassy with lemon & lime notes
MF: Medium body, soft carbonation, pretty good balance
Solid effort, pretty drinkable
