"El Gato is Dark Mexican Lager that pours deep amber with a soft off-white head. It offers notes of toasted bread and caramel, balanced by subtle earthy hops. Smooth and medium bodied, finishing clean and crisp with a touch of sweetness and mild roasted depth."
Pours a medium amber with reddish highlights. Pretty beer.
Nose of sweet malt and herbal hops.
Mouthfeel is light-medium.
Taste is initially malt-forward, but switches sides of the plate by the end of the palate to an inviting, but subtle, bitterness which invites another sip.
Overall a very nice beer.
