Served at a cask tapping at Hal & Mal's, Jackson, MS. Pint glass.
A: Tawny brown. Not much head since it came from a cask.
S: Heavenly bourbon and vanilla.
T: Bourbon melds its way with malty goodness and a bit of vanilla backbeat. Sweet, smooth. The 8.0 ABV sneaks up on you.
M: Medium with low carbonation.
O: A nice change of pace from the regular Abita lineup. A good sipper. Glad to have tried it.
