Draft at the brewpub during the Odio Equum release - review entered from notes. Served in a short chalice and consumed in the lovely barrel room, Ross’s Mom is an attractive, deeply reddish brown with a lasting cap of off-white carbonation. I get lots of red vinous notes heavy with fruit leather and oak, rich and irresistible. Smooth and flavorful on the mid-palate before turning thoroughly, deliciously acidic. Holds on to some balancing malt character. Thought the fruit and depth of character on this one was incredible - my favorite on a night with lots of great sours in attendance.
