Look - Black and thick with a small mocha colored head, slight lacing
Smell - Coffee, malt, raison/dried fruit
Taste - Coffee with sweet caramel flavor and notes of chocolate and some raison/dried fruit flavor - well balanced
Feel - Too much carbonation for my liking, takes away from the beer a little bit but still thick and full bodied
Overall an exceptional imperial stout and I highly recommend drinking along side either a bourbon or a light irish style stout such as guiness or any stout that tastes like an iced coffee. This will enhance the flavors of this beer and make it superb as well as enhance the flavors of the bourbon. I paired with Vault's Coffee Stout and a couple average priced bourbons that ended up tasting amazing.

Sampled December 2014 from bottle in pint glass.
Appearance: Very dark color, dark tan head that quickly disappeared. I would have liked the head to last longer.
Smell: Sweet with strong toasted coffee aromas, also some hints of the hops.
Taste: Full-bodied with great balance of malt and hops. Dominated by roasted coffee, but with some flavor from the hops. The strong alcohol adds to the flavors as well. Taste starts sweet with malts, then comes the roasted coffee flavors, and then a little bitterness from the hops. Overall a great combination and a great taste.
Mouthfeel: Full-bodied, but smooth.
Overall: Nice imperial stout. Best if you enjoy a combination strong malts & coffee, with a little bitterness from the hops. I will buy this again.

Not bad. Not a first choice stout for me, but no complaints in a pinch.
Dark black. Moderately rich mouthfeel.
Some malty bitterness, simultaneous with hints of dark molasses sweetness that partially masks what feels like potent alcohol.
Long finish, with some licorice.
