Luscious ripe red raspberries are elegantly intertwined with a bountiful amount of lactic acidity and delicate barrel nuances to cultivate this stunning sour ale.

22 ounce bottle, bottled October 2015. Served in a Prairie Teku, the beer pours a dark reddish/brown color with about an inch light tan head. Head retention is good, and there's a small amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like raspberries, oak, vinegar, and some funky sourness. The brew tastes like raspberries, oak, blackberries, vinegar, green apple, and earthiness. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's easy enough to drink with moderate carbonation. I thought this was a good brew, it has a lot of fruity and tart flavors that I liked. I'd buy this one again, definitely worth trying!

330ml bottle in Kyiv, how in the this found its way here I have no clue but it called to me. It asked my to take my rightfull place among thoose that know. Ukraine? They told me not to ask. They pulled out of their private stach. Lots of raspberry, everywhere - in the dark pink hue, on the nose, and in the flavor up-front-and-center. Nice amount of funk and white wine barrel character. Hazy , red/brown in color; big , off-white head. Raspberry and lactic acidity in aroma. Sour , tart taste with raspberries ,hint of oak, and some funky notes. Refreshing and easy to drink.

First off, I am not a sour fan, but here goes my interpretation:
Look: Pours a clear red-brown with a light bit of foam that lingers on the edge. Swirling will bring a light layer of foam on top that dissipates fairly quickly.
Smell: Pungent, with a odor I cannot identify, maybe fermented muscadine. Not appealing to me.
Taste: SOUR, slight vinegar, dry, with a small hint of berry.
Feel: Lingers in the mouth for a long time.
Overall: It IS sour, no doubt, but should be appealing to those that like it. I find the pungent smell off-putting, and the taste is too sour for me.
I poured approximately 4 oz from a 22 oz bottle into a class challis. Could not find a date.

Poured from 16-oz can into a tulip. Canned 11/25/19, so this example has a couple years of age on it at this point.
Appearance: dark red-brown hue with lots of murk and two fingers of lively tan foam atop. I think it's quite pretty indeed!
Smell: rich raspberry aroma, with a noticeable tartness but is rounded out by a sweet background that is almost like brown sugar. I like it a lot!
Taste: quite tart and a lot drier than I imagined based on the aroma. There's a good raspberry flavor, although not a lot of barrel-aged quality jumps out at me. It's a lovely raspberry sour, but perhaps not an amazing one.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a moderate carbonation and a decent creaminess.
Overall: man, I want to like this beer. But the tartness builds up as rather unbalanced over time. It's good, but not super duper quaffable, you know?

22oz bottle from June 2016 poured into a mug
Dark ruby color, not much head. Smells of apple cider vinaigrette and slight malt in the background. Taste opens very tart, but mellows out and has ample smooth malt that compliments the fruit flavor
After checking out the other reviews, it seems time has mellowed this one out. Very good flavor and an excellent sour

Solid acidity and tartness from the lacto. Good fruit flavor which is important since I feel like the lacto makes it sour and drowns the fruit but this is a good balance of the wild profiles as well as raspberry

Poured from a can. Brownish red in color with a large tan head. Smells of fruit and it smells like a sour. Fruit with a touch of sweet and it's got a very tart middle to it.

From the bottle it pours a dark amber, brown and ruby red color. It has some clarity and is elegant looking. A modest head quickly dissipates but yields a thin ring of lacing.
As expected, the nose highlights raspberry along with a tart and oaky/woody aroma. Furthermore, the aroma is quite vinous with notes of currants, red grape and raisins.
Very tart and mouth puckering with a vinegar and dry cider . The flavors of raspberry help somewhat temper the acidity. The oaky flavors evoke notes of wood and spice. There is a strong complexity of wild yeast, including fruity brett and yogurt like lactobacillus. Vinous notes of grape, currant, raisin, and zesty lemon and lime round out the fruity and tart flavors amidst a bready and doughy malt backbone.
Medium bodied, acidic and moderately carbonated. The finish is bone dry and refreshing.
Reminded me of a cross between a Flanders Red Ale and a Gueuze. I really enjoyed the complexity and intensity of this one.

The deep red color of this beer let's you know there will be ample raspberry presence--and there is. It's an aggressive sour, rich tart raspberry flavor. But the oak barrel aging does a nice job slamming the brakes on sourness before the beer would become a too tart bomb. Really nicely done. Have it on a hot day for max rewards.

This beer is a nice dark red color. You can taste the raspberry’s. The beer is sour and tarty. I feel this beer is good in small amounts. Too tarty for me.
