Reverend aged in a French Oak Opus One Barrel with Bretts and House Sour Blend #2.
On tap at Avery. Poured hazy brown with garnet highlight and an effervescent amber foam. Aromas of barnyard and brett funk, sour grapes, cherry Jolly Rancher candy, baseball glove, some oak and soft spice. Palate was clean and crisp with a puckering tartness. Flavors of horse blanket, oak, slight vanilla, tobacco, dark grapes, sour candy, burnt sugar, light spice with a crisp lingering dry tart funky finish. Amazing brew.
