On tap at the Avery barrel room. Pours a deep black color, with a bit of lasting brownish head. A nice nose, with rye whiskey, oak and some rye spiciness. On the palate, this one seemed much more balanced than the other two expressions, with a nicely integrated rye whiskey flavor, along with a bit o oak, roasted malt and maybe a bit of molasses. My favorite of the three.

This was my favorite of the three different versions of Black Tot.
Pours near black with a nice tan head.
Nose has a great rye whiskey presence over oak, vanilla, roasty malts, chocolate and coffee.
Taste also has a nice whiskey presence along with wood, vanilla, cocoa, molasses and espresso.
Medium to full body is well carbonated. Good stuff.
