On tap at Avery Brewing Company during GABF week 2009. Accordig to Avery, this is Samael's aged in a JW Lees cask with passion fruit. Pours a deep, dark brown color, capped with just a bit of light brown foam. Aromas of raisins, brown sugar, oak, roasted malt and alcohol. More alcohol on the palate, along with wood, raisins, toffee and maple syrup. Really not much evidence of passion fruit. A dangerously drinkable and noble experiment.
