On-tap at Stone Sour Fest
A: The pour is an amber color with a slight haze and a decent sized white head.
S: Fairly sweet on the nose, a hint of apples and perhaps cherries underneath. The oak presence is mild as well. Overall, a pretty underwhelming aroma.
T: A bit more robust in terms of the flavor, but not necessarily good. Quite sweet for a sour beer (perhaps the bugs and yeast need a little more time to bring down the gravity), with some undertones of green apple, oak, and a strange metallic taste.
M: The body is medium with a moderate level of carbonation.
D: Not a very complex or sour beer, considering what it is supposed to be. Not one of the better Avery offerings.
