Light gold pour with some haze, rocky head with lace. Nose is mango, not too strong.
Taste shows light mango, wheaty note, bitter citrus peal, some medium woody bitterness, light kilned malt. Finish is bitter dankness swirled with citrus. Interesting.

Pours a hazed gold with 2 fingers of rocky eggshell colored head. Nice lacing & head retention
S: Mangoes aplenty, some cereal notes
T: Follows the nose, some white grape skin, tangerine, some grassy notes, and watered down Cream of Wheat/Millet flavor, plus dryness up front. Pronounced dryness as this warms up, more tangerine & sweet mango notes, not really working for me, faint green melon & woodyness as well. Finishes with mango, pomelo, dryness & more cold cereal notes
MF: Medium body, low carbonation, grainyness; skews too sweet
Glad I bought a single, it is juicy but seems artificial. Anything heavy one the mango, usually needs something to balance it out to me

12oz, canned on 2/27/23
On the pour, two fingers of white, foamy head formed on top of a very hazy golden body. Head retention is average.
Aroma is incredibly aromatic and juicy on the pour. Getting in there, it's still solidly juicy, but there is a gentle herbal note that I appreciate.
Flavor is also juicy, but not incredibly sweet, until the lightly malty finish creeps in. The finish brings that herbal note once again. This is pretty nice. There is a slight boozy flavor on the end.
The feel is right for a NEIPA, but the style always kind of throws me off. The hips add a dry astringency, but at the same time the finish is long and malty, presumably from oats.
Overall this is probably the most NEIPA of the Colorado brewed NEIPAs I've had, but it's not on the legendary levels that Heady Topper reaches by any means.

good to see some new stuff from avery, this is drinkable as the hazy ones go, bright and fresh and with some uniqueness on the hop side, they did a nice job with this, no surprise, they have always known their way around an ipa. i usually prefer these to be bone dry, but this little bit of pale malt sweetness running through this extends the best part of the hops, so its long without being heavy, and there is plenty of room for nuance. i pick up pineapple, cooked pear, passion fruit, and white coconut flesh in here, pretty dynamic, and everything i smell i taste, no fall off at all, so its vibrant the whole way. straw colored and creamy headed, not as thick and dense as a lot of these are, really well carbonated too, so all the intangibles are here. the bitterness is kept real low, the fruitiness shines, and this is dry hop driven without being green or harsh or vegetal at all. light orange as it warms, mango juiciness too, and this has a summery complexion overall. clean and neutral ferment, just a little oily linger from the hops on the palate, but nice and tidy on the whole. soft feeling, perhaps some southern hemisphere hops in this, a lime note late, rushing bubbles. impressive and very modern.

Weird, off flavors, literally zero haze, bad feel. What a let down. Gnarly cough syrupy citric artificial lemon and a nauseating, off sweetness. A lot of disappointing beers from Avery for the last five years. I’ll keep trying.

12oz can. Poured out a very clear, golden yellow color with a small, fizzy, white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of citrus, grapefruit, caramel and some floral notes. Sweet tropical fruit taste with a sharp bitterness and citrusy kick.

Dark yellow with a deep haze. One finger white head. Massive punch of pine aroma and mild flowers. Some citrus aromas follow. Fluffy medium light body. All initial taste belongs to pine resin flavors. Some fruity components creep in. Powdery citrus and mango.
