On tap in the barrel room at Avery. Poured a medium brown color, with 3/4 of an inch of head. Huge smoke on the nose, and again on the palate. This one is listed as a rauchbier aged in Stranahan's whiskey barrels, but the smoke is king. A little oak pokes through, but mostly smoke. Good though.

Light Coca cola color in appearance with a white head and lazy carbonation.

The nose faint but smells of whiskey and smoke. A good pair.

Salted meats and campfire in the front, with light whiskey at the end. Surprisingly no alcohol burn.

Light to medium bodied, wish it were heavier with medium carbonation.

A truly unique experience and at the brew pub, a great price. I would recommend for everyone to try.
