Pours a firey orange golden with a nice foamy white head. Aroma offers some pear, honeydoo melon, belgian candy, caramel, a little spice, and pepper. Flavor pretty much followed suit. A medium bodied, smooth, active mouthfeel. Overall, I quite dug this one. Would drink again.

On tap at the 2013 Firestone Walker Invitational held at the Paso Robles Event Center in Paso Robles, CA.
Pours a hazy orange with a foamy bone head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, spice, and lemongrass aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus and floral flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that is drinkable but the flavors are fairly subdued.

On tap at Avery. Pale golden color. Unknown spices. Maybe pink pepper and grains of paradise. Well blended. Crisp with some pepper.
