Sampled at the brewery during the BA social 4/19/14.
Dark amber and reddish brown body with a thin head and sheets of lacing on the glass. Faint aroma, mostly of a light malt character. Malty flavor with a bit of coconut and touch of brown sugar. Medium body.
An pretty nice brown ale though rather unexceptional. The coconut was pretty subdued and the aroma was fairly weak, but it still came through with its malt-forward style.

Had this on tap at the Momi Hiwa release party at the brewery! Pours up dark brown with ruby edges. Endless off white head. Not much lacing. Nose is chocolate and coconut infusion. Toasty malts. Taste is chocolate as the powerhouse. A mix of coconut and vanilla. Coconut is left in the finish. Sweet finish. Full bodies smooth carbo. Very nice
