Smooth, nutty, caramel flavors and a medium body. Deez Nutz brown ale has a hearty addition of oats balanced out by subtle English varietal hops. Pairs perfectly with pumpkin pie, roast beef, changing leaves, and sweater weather.

The body pours the expected opaque brown with white head. Not much lacing.
Aroma and taste featured a malty, nutty ale with a definite sweetness. Not cloying, but sweet enough to be the predominant flavor. A wee too much sweetness for my preference in a brown ale. No discernible bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium with strong carbonation.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 10/10/2019. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy deep ruby red/copper/brown color with a 1 finger fairly dense and rocky khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and brown bread/crust; with lighter notes of coffee, licorice, dark fruit, smoke, herbal, wood, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malts and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast notes; with big strength. Taste of big milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and brown bread/crust; with lighter notes of coffee, licorice, dark fruit, smoke, herbal, wood, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery, roasted bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, brown bread/crust, coffee, licorice, dark fruit, smoke, herbal, wood, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malts and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; with a great roast/hop bitter/sweet balance, and no cloying/acrid/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering hop/roasted bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly crisp/sticky/chalky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 5.9%. Overall this is an excellent American brown ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malts and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Great soft feel and not aggressively bitter. Great clean and nicely rich dark/roast/Munich malt complexity; with balanced earthy English hops, and restrained fruity yeast. Mild residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example as expected. No complaints.

Pours Brown. Short, foamy, tan head that Fades fast.
Smells earthy, light roast, light caramel and a hint of nuttiness.
Taste light roasted malt, caramel malt, light nut and earthy. Finishes dry with a light earthy linger. Lighter medium body and fizzy lower carbonation.

Taste: nutty flavors that mellows later, caramel malt semi sweet. Nutty earthy nose. Brown, mostly clear, tan head with refined lace on taster glass. Medium body. Like an English nut brown.
