Started out as a good Rye IPA. Lot of the dry rye astringency and nice hop / malt balance. Tasty but uneventful fresh (cold) from the tap. But as the beer warmed the smokiness really came out. The beer began to take on a very nice Bamberg like character. Really pleasant enhancing complexity of flavors. Really enjoyed this one as I sipped the second half of the pint. Recommended.
