"A dark complex Belgian brewed with robust malts and dark candi sugars. The subtle spice character and dark fruity notes from the yeast are complimented by the 500 lbs. of blackberries this was aged over."
5 oz pour on tap. Looks fine but goes quickly downhill from there. It is sour and lacks the typical quad notes - very little candi sugar, toffee, dark fruit, Belgian esters, etc. I assume the sour note comes from the blackberries but it doesn't work at all with the style. This should never have been released.
