12 oz can, w/o canning date info
Into a wine glass, this one is heavily hazed, leaves better then
decent looking froth and lace on the glass
Upon the sniff...the dankness comes forward...pungent, earthy and hoppy stuff
Solid brew with waves of hoppy goodness, quite dry in the finish....just enough of a maple malt under note to make this beer highly enjoyable...Quality stuff...get some if you happen to see it in your local bottle shop

12oz can from Total Wine (Kennesaw, GA). 1.79. The numbers were difficult to decipher but I believe this was canned in January. Served in a Barrel and Barley teku.
Pours a vibrant but hazy amber with almost two fingers of rocky white head. Those bubbles settle to a frothy veneer and thin band. Only a few small cakes of lace remain on the glass.
Vaguely citrus and floral hops lead the nose. Cracker and a hint of mint come in later and more oranges are present as it warms.
Tastes of citrus skins, lemon zest, grass, bitter flower petals, earthy pine root, rye toast crusts and some vague pepper. Nothing is out of sorts here but it doesn't particularly inspire my palate either.
Slick medium feel with moderate carbonation. Lingering, bitter floral aftertaste with citrus peel and grass.
I'm a fan of a good bit of Southbound's work but Rollin' & Tumblin' leans a tad bitter for my tastes.

Pulled it from the fridge a bit warm because I was excited to try it - came highly recommended and was told that it was freshly produced locally. Unfortunately my first impression was not good with this one. From the moment I opened it the can, it felt a bit.. empty.... I've never experienced this before
I poured it into a measuring cup and found about 10.5 ounces with very little head. Low carbonation, though I wouldn't call it "flat". Seems like there may be an issue with manufacturing that needs to be addressed.
It's a bit light on hops for an IPA, more caramel and malt than I expected. Not bad, but I wouldn't call it "crisp" like the description on the can, as I associate that with hops and carbonation, both of which were on the low side for an IPA. Flavor is solid - good balance of hops and malt for a pale ale (skeptical of the IPA label with all this malt) but the most memorable aspects were negative.
Carbonation quickly dissipated and I would now call it flat inside of 5 minutes.
I feel like I may have gotten a bad one. I'll update if the rest of the 6 pack is better.
With so many amazing local beers, this is not even remotely acceptable. Hoping that there are kinks to work out, as it has potential, but this was not a good experience.

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a murky orange with a small off-white colored head. The aroma is made up of hops and light malt. The taste is hop based with a nice caramel malt mix.

A: Hazy, orange with a 1/2 inch off white head, that fades pretty quick, really good lacing down the glass
S: Bisquety malt, citrus hops
T: Citrus hops balanced by a caramel malt flavor, the more I drink the more I get the malt and less hops
M: Light to Medium feel
O: A decent IPA. I like a strong malt base and this one has that. Not quite as good as their Hoplin IPA but not bad.

It's alright. Kinda has a funky dirt taste. I'm not saying that's bad, definitely different.
