We brewed up this German-style sour wheat to help us transition in the Atlanta market. Lactobacillus and saccharomyces create this light, acidic, and tart summer heat quencher. Fresh mango and pomegranate add delicate fruit flavors to the unusually high gravity Berliner Weisse. Transilience’s crips and dry finish prove perfect for all of your long strange trips and will undoubtedly leave you wanting more.

12oz can. Poured out a sightly cloudy, golden color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of citrus, mango and pomegranate. Tart and acidic with sweet fruit and cracked wheat.

On tap at the 2017 Decatur Beer Festival.
Hazy pale golden body with a fine white head.
Moderately tart and strong flavor for style. Higher ABV not obvious. Very good use of fruits.
Lively carbonation.
Aroma is a bit musty.

A - cherries, apples and Mango on fresh baked bread
A - orangish-yellow with some haziness.
T - tropical. Mango, pineapple, granny Smith apple and lemon welcome you. This is followed by a soft and easy maltiness, like fresh baked white bread.
P - highly carbonated, perfect for the style.
O - perfect summer beer here in Georgia. Tart and juicy. Leaves the tongue questioning itself about the thirst brought on by the tartness refreshed by the wave of tropical juices.

Tart with notes of lemon peel and fruit. This Berliner Weiss style has a light and refreshing mouthfeel. Good for a hot summer day. Would definitely recommend for anyone who likes Berliner Weiss.

6 Pack - $10.99 at Bullock's Wine & Spirits in Marietta, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours a fairly clear, golden-hued body with no real head production.

Smell: Tart-scented aroma of pomegranate and a lemony vibe, though not so much the implied mango, with some modest, underlying touches of wheat and basic barley.

Taste: It's tart and brightly acidic. Wheat and a little, light sans-crust breadiness. Puckering, moue-making lemony kick. Pomegranate, but now some of the tropical mango showing, then back to more puckering acidity through the finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Low carbonation.

Overall: I'm not sure I get the need to ramp this up to 7%, but, all in all, not bad.
