Our Imperial Nut Brown Ale was brewered up with over 300 pounds of local pecans from the kind folks at Southern Georgia Pecan Co. Rockin' Chair's malty backbone is complimented by notes of caramel and toast. The freshly roasted pecans add a roasted and nutty character to this medium bodied brew. Comin' in at almost 8%, I believe Rockin' Chair's got me and I'm sure its gonna' get you too.

Poured from a 22 oz brown bomber into a clear glass tulip. Hand marked with 01/20/16 bottling date on label.
A: Clear light brown-chestnut with short cap of off-white head that fell away quickly and left no lacing.
S: Very sweet and nutty, nougat-like
T: Flavor is way oversweet and boozy with a nutty character that is interesting but not enough bready malt character or hopping to offset the candylike caramel maltiness that is overbearing to say the least.
M: Pretty drinkable and light for the ABV with low carbonation and medium body.
O: Not one I would go back to -- it needs reworking with more character malts and less crystal with more bitterness as the sweetness is cloying.
