Had the privilege of sharing a growler of this one over the Christmas holiday and it was spectacular. Just gorgeous...in appearance and taste. Right up there with the big boys of the style. Such a nice and clean hop profile So drinkable. The growler was gone in no time between the two of us. Bemidji Brewing puts out some very nice beer.

Maybe just a tich light at 7.4% to be a DIPA but being the name includes "Double" I'll put it here.
I was lucky enough to get a growler of this while in Bemidji recently and wow what a great beer this is. It reminds me of Abrasive but a bit easier drinking. More of a drinker than a sipper. It would definitely fall on the light side of a DIPA but this is loaded, and I mean loaded with hop flavors and aroma.
Big juicy cantaloupe and mushmelon impression up front.....some catty notes which are becoming almost synonymous with quality IPA/DIPA's these days....very similar in this regard to Abrasive and Laganitus Sucks...some tangerine on the finish....mandarin oranges...nice toffee like malt backing.
This is a beer I think everyone should try. It's that good. A real hidden gem in Bemidji kicking out top quality assertive beers as well as easy sessionable beers as well. This fits into the former. I gotta drink more of their beer.
